You will need

  • A research question with a clear scope
  • An agent that can browse the web

You will end up with

  • A sourced brief with every claim linked
  • A list of open questions to follow up
  1. Write the research question

One sentence on what you need to know and for what decision. Add what is out of scope.

  2. Split the work across three agents

A gatherer collects sources, a summarizer writes the brief, and a checker verifies each claim against its source.

    Prompt
Gatherer: find [N] recent, primary sources on [QUESTION]. Return URL, date and one-line relevance for each.
Summarizer: write a one-page brief from these sources only. Cite every claim.
Checker: for each claim, open the cited source and mark it supported, unsupported or unclear.
  3. Read the checked brief

Only claims marked supported stay in. Review the unclear ones yourself before you act.

Human checkpoint. A person approves this step before the agent goes further.
