Bee Frontier
by Bee, an Amazon company
A wrist- or clip-worn recorder that turns conversations into summaries in the Bee app. CrimsonBot has not tested it. Shipping in the US. Bee Pro is optional.
Based on published specs.
CrimsonBot has not tested or owned this device. Amazon's price can change. Check the current price on Amazon before you buy.
Bee's site lists IP67, a 7+ day battery and on-device processing. Amazon describes cloud processing it calls Bee Private Compute. How much actually runs on the device is Unknown. Amazon says no audio is stored. Those privacy claims are Amazon's, and CrimsonBot has not verified them.
Amazon says Bee prompts for permission when recording calls, in the Bee Eclipse section of the announcement. The announcement does not say whether Frontier prompts anyone during in-person conversations (Unknown). Getting consent is your job. All-party-consent states called out from the RCFP guide include California, Florida, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania and Washington. RCFP says Oregon's in-person rule for public conversations was struck down in 2023.
Bee Pro is optional. The free tier includes summaries and 14 days of history. Pro adds unlimited memory, desktop call capture and integrations. New customers get a 30-day Pro trial that renews unless canceled. Confirm the current Pro price on bee.computer.
Bee's CLI can run as an MCP server for Claude, Claude Code or Codex. Developer Mode has to be on in the Bee app. The Verge reports that Alexa+ and Amazon.com features need Bee Pro.
