# Turn a weekly report into a scheduled workflow

## You will need

- Read access to the source of your numbers
- An n8n account
- A team channel to post to

## You will end up with

- A report posted every Monday without anyone writing it

## Steps

### 1. Connect the data source

Give n8n read-only access to the sheet, database or dashboard the numbers come from.

### 2. Add an AI step that writes the summary

Pass this week's and last week's numbers to the model and ask for three bullet points on what changed and why it might matter.

### 3. Schedule and post (human checkpoint)

Run the workflow every Monday at 8 am and post the result to your team channel. Have the owner skim the first few runs.
